March is time to fertilize the lawn.

Clean debris from around the bulbs and perennials that will be soon coming through the ground.

Mulch shrubs and trees.

Time to plant the earliest plants, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, radishes, peas, potatoes, and other early crops. The earlier that you plant cabbage, broccoli, and potatoes the less insect pressure you will see.

Plant trees and shrubs while we have months of good moisture: you will have to water less this summer. Remember to amend the soil with humus, fertilize and mulch well at the time of planting.

Maybe it is time for a new shed, grill, or set of chimes.

Stop by the Livingston Garden Center, we will be glad to help you find what you need. Thanks to all our loyal customers.
